Evan Derian (b. October 31, 1967). Is a graphic designer, writer and illustrator working out of Detroit, MI. He has been doing design and illustration work since the early 90's. He has worked extensively in promotional design, screen printing, and logo design, along with illustrations for children's books, comic books and graphic novels. His comic work includes the 6 issue limited series Insignificant Gods and the subsequent graphic novel compillation. He wrote and illustrated a special Batman Fan-Fiction short story sequel to the impactful Killing Joke graphic novel entitled "Epilogue to the Killing Joke". Currently he is working on the 6th book in his new series called Miserable Americans, and, as well, a compilation graphic novel of the first 4 issues. He is also co-writting and illustrating the forthcoming Parallel Veins series. He also has begun a series of large format illustrations on canvas and prints. He is currently developing illustrations and art for a book entitled “Tits and Explosions”.
The debut issue Insignificant Gods #1 was awarded a Day Prize award at the S.P.A.C.E. Convention. Miserable Americans #1 was awarded 4 out 5 stars from the Detroit Metrotimes.
